The Mid-Autumm fesstival is one of the most importance traditional festival in Vietnam. It is anually celebrated on the 15th day of August according to lunar calendar. Especially, people can admire the sight of full moon, which is the brighest and roundest in year.
During this festival, children can be bought many toys such as masks, latterns. Moreover, there are many exciting activities such as dragon dance, parade and so on. This festival are mainly for children to enjoy the best time of the year. The children and adults will go around the street and enjoy the great performance of lion dance.
In adition, there are many delicious dishes on this occasion. However, the most famous and popular food is Moon Cake. It is made from variety of materials such as meat, egg yolk, flavor, masheddried fruits, pumpkin’s or lotus seed and peanut and so on. People consider it as a symbol of luck, happiness, health, wealth.
The most intersting activity I love is parade with 5- pointed star shaped lantern. I love traditional Vietnamese beauty.
